Why We Started Shaadi Sands
A New Studio for a New Era of Weddings
Shaadi Sands began with a simple frustration: there was no studio in Canada built specifically for the complexity and cultural depth of a South Asian multi-day celebration in an international setting.
Generic destination wedding planners don't understand mandap requirements, dhol logistics, or the delicate choreography of a four-day Hindu or Sikh celebration. Many Indian wedding planners in Canada are brilliant at local banquet halls but have no international network.
So we set out to build what we wished existed: a boutique studio that pairs genuine destination expertise with deep South Asian cultural fluency — transparent CAD pricing, no minimum guest count, and one team with you from the first call to the last farewell. We are a new studio, and we would be honoured to make your wedding one of the first we bring to life.
